Outstanding Team
Our team consists of experienced Deaf ASL teachers and ASL interpreters. They are headed by an ASL professional who is certified in ACTFL. Continuous training ensures consistent excellence.
Review Process
After the interviewer scores the exam, two additional team members independently review and score the interview. Any discrepancies in score are investigated. This process ensures extremely accurate results.
Interview Style Assessment
In the interview process, questions are asked on various topics with increasing complexity. This process helps to establish the interviewee’s consistent capabilities across a variety of topics.
Affordability
We don’t believe that a budget price should take precedence over a quality exam. Luckily, we can provide both! An exam offered by our competition would be at least twice the price of the exam that we offer.

Seal of Biliteracy
Our Most Popular Service
Multiple states and school districts have used our services to assess a students language level. This language assessment has been used to allow high school students to receive the Seal of Biliteracy on their diplomas.
Entry Into an ASL Interpreting or Teaching Program
Universities can use ASLFAI to provide testing before students enter into an ASL interpreting or teaching program. We can also be used to assess ASL skill levels upon completion of a program.
ASL Teacher Qualification
Administrators can us our service to help determine language proficiency in candidates for ASL teaching positions. The results of our assessment can provide valuable data to ensure the highest qualified candidate gets the job.
General ASL Language Assessment
We provide an ASL functional ability interview (ASLFAI). Our functional ability interview accurately measures how functional someone is at the language in terms of their conversational capacity. There are a variety of personal and business applications for our assessment.
